The Directorate-General for Higher Education (DGES) created a brochure and a new website with the intention to promote, in a global perspective, the Portuguese Higher Education System and also with the purpose of supporting international students that want to study in our country.
The brochure “Your Way to Portugal: a guide for international students”, describes the Higher Education System in Portugal and provides reliable information about the way of life while studying and living in Portugal. The new Website, “Study In Portugal”, is a new tool where students, teachers and institutions can find relevant information about the Portuguese Higher Education System, in order to make an informed decision when considering to study in Portugal and also to cooperate with our institutions. The website was developed taking into consideration the demand of international users and is available in the following link: http://www.studyinportugal.edu.pt
DGES presented the brochure and the portal at NAFSA – Association of International Educators- the largest fair about Higher Education in the USA, which took place during May, in San Diego California.
