New Skills Agenda for Europe

On the 20th of June the European Commission officially launched a New Skills Agenda for Europe, through a Communication that was previously adopted on the 10th of June, aiming to promote employment, competitiveness and growth for the EU, as well as increasing the quality and relevance of skills in the labour market.

The agenda presents 10 concrete measures to assure that skills become more visible and comparable, and increase the quality of the existing data. These measures include the review of the Recommendation on Key Competences, an initiative on graduate tracking and a review of the European Qualifications Framework.
